Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and colony management is the proven only humane approach to the management of feral and stray cat populations.
Once the cats are trapped, we ensure they are fully vetted; vaccinated, sterilized, microchipped, and ear-tipped. They are then released back into their colony to live their lives without the hardships of reproduction and disease.
Providing TNR reduces the demand on local shelters and rescues, freeing up resources for adoptable cats in the community.
Shady's Paw Animal Rescue assists with TNR within Frederick County, Va and surrounding areas.
